lately, thinking about my books has taken the place of blogging. it makes me feel creative, and allows my mind to focus on something broad enough that i don't have to concentrate at all on staying on topic. i can just float through this other world, and slowly the pieces keep adding up. it doesn't even require any effort, it just happens when it does. all of the other time it is sitting there in a holding pattern until some dragon or ninja or plans for outlasting a seige in shoreline and the fortifications it might require comes along and wakes it up. the kid (and the adult) inside me really enjoys seeing one dragon blast another dragon into the side of a mountain with a giant get of fire, what can i say.

these books are my ace in the hole. they are something that still keeps my interest.
